Josh Elliott | Youth Pastor

Growing up in a strong Christian home, and following in the footsteps of both his parents, Josh felt a call to ministry at 16 years old. After high school he moved to Knoxville Tennessee and attended Johnson University, studying the Bible and youth ministry. While there, Josh put his calling and faith under the microscope. He desired a genuine faith and relationship with God, not just the faith he inherited from his parents. After much work, many difficult discussions, and a lot of self reflection and prayer, Josh’s faith in God became stronger than ever before. Because of this personal spiritual journey, Josh is now passionate about helping others pursue an authentic relationship with God.

For Josh, youth ministry is incredibly life giving. Josh has an adventurous spirit, and is a child at heart. He loves playing games with the teenagers that attend Tulip Street, building relationships with them, and creating a place where teens feel comfortable being themselves. His goal in ministry is for everyone to build, strengthen, and maintain an authentic and meaningful relationship with God.
